Hailing originally from Leeds, Rachel has been playing clarinet since she was 9 years old and sax since she was 14.
She started gigging around Leeds in her teens and has since played all over the UK and Europe, with bands and as a soloist.
Rachel is lucky enough to have played with many ensembles, ranging from small chamber groups to big-bands, with many others in between.
She studied her BA Hons in Music at Dartington College of Arts.
Rachel has been teaching for the past few years in Bristol and teaches in schools for Bristol Arts and Music Service as well as privately.
Rachel still plays gigs all over the shop and feels that nothing really beats playing to an audience.

Baila la Cumbia
Baila la Cumbia, Bristol’s finest Cumbia purveyors. This Columbian dance act will get any audience bopping their heads, shaking their hips and bouncing off the walls. With a heavy five piece horn section blasting out riffs, and sexy backline and percussion section, you have to see these guys!
